Red rash on foot *PICS!*

Ever since I started wearing vibram five fingers I've been noticing foot odor and now this red painfull rash has appeared. Any ideas what it could be? Its not athletes foot is it?

Yes I could probably use a shower.

is that brown stuff just dirt or is that something else? I don't think it's athletes foot though either way, I would guess that is the beginnings of some blisters? does the shoe rub against your foot there especially bad? do they make socks for those shoes? you should wear them if they do.

this is a blister.

you have the wrong size shoe, or those shoes simply do not work. you should sell them and get a real pair of shoes, or run barefoot. or you can simply continue to run for a few weeks of pain until the blister builds up enough to not hurt.
